PRCH Study Tour to England is an excellent opportunity to visit worldwide well-known and recognizable shopping centres (Westfield (Londyn), Cabbot Circus (Bristol), Liverpool One (Liverpool), Bullring (Birmingham), Bluewater (Kent) and Whitefriars (Canterbury). During the trip, you will learn about the process of development, lease and brand creation for retail real estate, as well as how that translates into it's turnouts and turnovers. The knowledge which you are going to gain during the trip cannot be acquired during any course, training or studies. It is a worthwhile and, at the same time, pleasant way of improving your knowledge about real properties and making interesting business contacts. The number of participants for the training is limited to 40 people.


PRCH Retail Awards

PRCH Retail Awards has been created for retailers, developers, administrators, investors and people working in the retail marketing sector. It is an exceptional programme and opportunity to demonstrate the competence, skills, know-how, innovation and creativity of conducted projects.
The jury of PRCH Retail Awards will assess distinguishing factors and the best features. In the case of a retail concept, those will be brand-specific elements and positive purchase experiences of the consumers. A shopping centre will not be examined solely on the basis of its architecture, but also taking into account the areas of property and asset management, as well as the creation of dialogue with the local community and consumers. Marketing awards will allow to assess the cohesion of its campaign's strategy, its creative part and results (effectiveness).  The contest jury consists of retail sector specialists who do not assess projects to which they are or have ever been related through business.

SHOPPING CENTRE TURNOVER INDEX

Monthly publication of a turnover index as realized in a wide and representative panel of shopping centres in Poland.
 
The company PricewaterhouseCoopers prepared for PRCH a system of an „black box" type for analysis, aggregation and reporting of data for the index, ensuring confidentiality and security to the participants of this project.
The project is available to managers and owners of shopping centres interested in joining this unique research, allowing to benchamrk shopping centres' turnovers according to 8 categories.

FootFall Index Polska - turnouts in Polish shopping centres
 
Weekly Footfall Index Polska presents figures for visits to shopping centers and retail shops, with a quarterly commentary (distributed by email to any number of the member company's representatives).
Monthly Footfall Index Polska provided with comments and analysis of last 6 months.
 

On-line Shopping Centre directory (work in progress)
 
On-line Shopping Centre directory updated twice a year, is supposed to be an actual source of current information about shopping centres per province and per city in Poland: address,  GLA, developer, owner, opening date, website links, etc. Available for PRCH members only.


Retail Research Forum Poland
Biannual issuance to members of data and information (from July 2009) about the market status, its trends and forecasts: forum conclusions shared with DTZ, Cushman and Wakefield, GENI, Jones Lang Lasalle, GfK Polonia and PRCH. Market definitions according to ICSC international standards.

ICSC European Research Group guarantees to our members the access to European research results, quarterly prepared by 40 professionals from European countries.


Publications and research in Poland
 
Free off charge publications: sponsored by PRCH or other National Councils or provided by PRCH members, related to our industry and its impact on the economy and societies.
At this moment PRCH started a co-operation with Ph.D. Jan Mikołajczyk  (University of Economics in Poznań) in order to support research on the influence of shopping centres on Polish cities.

Legal barriers
Support in the protection of interests of members and legal support in respect of regulations of key importance for the industry. PRCH is known from such initiatives as:
- lobbying  against „WOH",
- compromise on "Sunday shopping" issue.
PRCH is a consulting partner of „Konfederacja Pracodawców Polskich" (Confederation of Polish Employers) and „Lewiatan" for the analysis of new legal acts submitted for voting: supported by PRCH legal and PR advisers


Sustainability
Consulting Partner of the Polish Green Building Council, being part of the International Green Building Council, in the forming of new environmental certification framework to impact the retail real estate industry (stores, shopping centres...)
Partner of the ICSC European Lobbying Committee to the European Union about upcoming EU Sustainability norms and legislation.
